Privacy, without the legalese.

The short version.

This is a personal website. I do not sell visitor data, run behavioral ads, or intentionally collect sensitive personal information from visitors.

Google Analytics.

If you choose to allow analytics, this site loads Google Analytics 4 using Measurement ID G-H0M4TBQQS2. It helps me understand things like which pages are visited, approximate device/browser information, referral sources, and how people move around the site.

Analytics is off by default until you opt in. Your choice is saved in your browser so I do not have to ask on every page.

Cookies and local storage.

The site uses local storage to remember your analytics preference and a small amount of site memory: rooms visited, interaction counts, and whether you have been here before. That site memory stays in your browser and is used only to make the site react differently when you come back. You can erase it below.

If analytics is enabled, Google Analytics may set its own measurement cookies. Disabling analytics here also attempts to remove those first-party analytics cookies from this domain.

The Wall.

If you write on The Wall, the name you choose, your message, and its timestamp are stored on this server so the message can be displayed publicly. Wall entries do not store your IP address. The server may use the request address briefly in memory to enforce a one-minute posting rate limit, but it is not written into the wall data.
